This book (the second book in The Green Ember series) focuses on Picket and Heather as they work to fight for the cause. The have to struggle through many losses and moving far from their original home the Nick Hollow. They begin traveling to different citadels to gain rabbits for the cause. This story is, like the, first packed with many adventures and thrilling life-threatening moments. This story is packed with plenty of humors moments that make you laugh out loud. This story also has a catching theme to it that makes you not want to put it down. Warning, when you start, you’ll not want to stop!

I would give this book a five-star rating because this a great book. First of all, it is my personal opinion though I would like to state it, I like it better than the first book. There is a lot more action and fighting scenes in this book.
